Beacon Hill Country Club would like to welcome all of our Guests to enjoy our Club. The Professional Staff strives to treat each Guest with an experience our Members have come to know. We are committed to providing all of our Members and their Guests with the best Club experience possible.

As you arrive at Beacon Hill Country Club, please proceed through the parking to our Outside Operations team, who will greet you, assist with your golf bag, and direct you to the locker rooms.

Fully appointed Men’s and Ladies’ Locker Rooms are available for your use before and after your round. For the comfort and experience of all members and guests, changing shoes or clothing in the parking lot is not permitted.

Beacon Hill Country Club’s dress code establishes a level of decorum at our facility to compliment the overall experience for members and guests at the Club. The Beacon Hill Staff will answer any questions about the dress code and will offer gentle reminders to those who may be misinformed or forget these rules. Management reserves the right to define and enforce the rules regarding appropriate attire as set forth in this handbook:

• All Members, Family Members and Guests shall be neat and wear appropriate attire at all times. All shirts shall be tucked in. Hats shall be worn facing forward. Hats shall not be worn on the dining level of the Clubhouse.

• Golf or smart casual attire is required for both Men and Women in the Grille Room, Cocktail Lounge and second floor outdoor decks at all times.

• ‘Smart jeans’ are permitted in the Clubhouse during all dining hours, unless an event’s specific dress code is stated. ‘Smart jeans’ attire is defined by: clean-cut jeans which are not ripped, cutoff, baggy, cropped, saggy, or side-pocketed (cargo style). In plain English, they are nice pants that are just made of denim.

• Members and Guests shall not change clothes or shoes in the parking lot.

• Cargo shorts with exterior pockets, short shorts, short skirts, athletic or jogging shorts, cutoff slacks or shorts, tee shirts, hunting camouflage, halter tops, and fishnet tops are considered inappropriate attire.

• Some special event dinners held in the Banquet Room require specific dress as indicated on the notification of the event. Gentlemen must wear jackets or jackets and ties for all events where such attire is listed as required. Women shall be appropriately attired to maintain the intended atmosphere of these events as well.

• Bathing attire is permitted only in the pool area or locker rooms. Appropriate cover ups are to be worn in transit to the pool area. The locker room is the only area of the Clubhouse where bare feet are permitted. Bathing attire is never permitted under any circumstances on the dining level of the Clubhouse.

Beacon Hill Country Club - Golf Course Dress Code Policy: Proper golf attire must be worn on the golf course at all times. Gentlemen must wear slacks or Bermuda-type shorts paired with a tucked-in collared golf shirt. Ladies must wear proper slacks, capri’s, shorts, skirts, or skorts along with a golf appropriate shirt (sleeveless must have a collar and shirts with sleeves may have either a ribbed neck or collar).

Cargo Pants or Shorts, and Tank Tops are NOT permitted at any time.

Ladies shorts, skirts, and skorts cannot be more than four inches above the knee.

Members and Guests must change their shoes in their respective Locker Rooms.

To avoid potentially embarrassing situations, please advise your guests of appropriate Golf Dress Code prior to arrival.

Guests of a member may be entertained in the Club when accompanied by the member who invited them. Where there is any possibility a Guest may arrive at the Club before the Member host does, the Member host should telephone and give the Club office his/her Guest’s name so that the Guest may be properly admitted. The conduct and behavior of Guests are the responsibility of the Member host. A Member shall not introduce as a Guest any person who has been suspended or expelled from the Club.

Any committee may request the Board of Trustees to withdraw at any time the privileges extended to any Guest for cause.
Upon arrival on the Beacon Hill Country Club grounds, all cellular phones, Blackberries, pagers, PDAs and other electronic devices are to have their ringers silenced. Speaking on cellular phones and other similar devices is specifically prohibited in the second floor dining rooms of the Clubhouse, the Cocktail Lounge and the outdoor dining areas.

Speaking on cell phones and similar devices is also not permitted in the common areas of the first floor of the Clubhouse including the Lobby and the Tournament Room. Speaking on cell phones is permitted in the locker rooms and parking lots. Short, quiet conversations on cell phones are permitted on the second floor outdoor deck of the porte-cochere. Cell phone usage on the golf course is discouraged since it can be disruptive and time consuming.

Members and Guests are cautioned to observe common courtesy when using cellular phones and similar devices. Improper use of these devices may cause the privilege to be suspended or revoked.
